Online EFT Tapping Therapy in the UK

What Is EFT Tapping?

Emotional Freedom Technique often known as tapping therapy, is a gentle yet effective approach used in modern psychotherapy to support emotional wellbeing.

Although it has become more widely known in recent years, EFT is inspired by traditional practices such as acupressure and acupuncture. Today, it is supported by a growing body of research and is increasingly used to help people manage anxiety, trauma, stress, and emotional overwhelm.

EFT works by combining light tapping on specific points on the body with a focused awareness of what you’re feeling. This process can help calm the nervous system and reduce the intensity of difficult emotions.

Many people notice a shift quite quickly feeling calmer, lighter, and more grounded after a session.

EFT tapping can help with anxiety and stress, trauma, PTSD and difficult past experiences, feelings such as fear, guilt, shame, anger, or overwhelm, unhelpful habits or patterns of behaviour.

Over time, it can support you to feel more in control, build emotional resilience, and create positive changes in how you think, feel, and respond to life.

Learning a Technique You Can Use for Life

What to Expect from EFT Tapping Sessions

During our sessions, I will guide you through the EFT Tapping process step by step. Working together, you will gently tap or apply light pressure with your fingertips to specific acupressure points on the upper part of your body while we explore the thoughts, emotions, memories, or challenges you would like support with.

Sessions are delivered online via secure video call across the UK. The initial session lasts 90 minutes, allowing time to understand your concerns and goals, while follow-up sessions are 50 minutes long.

EFT Tapping is a simple yet effective technique that many people find easy to learn. Once you become familiar with the process, you can use it as a self-help tool between sessions to help manage stress, regulate emotions, and support your ongoing wellbeing.

As a qualified psychotherapist and trauma therapist, I use EFT Tapping alongside evidence-based approaches to support deeper emotional healing

How to Find 9 EFT Tapping Points

EFT Tapping Meridian Points

Tapping works with the body’s subtle energy system called meridians. Acupuncture uses needles and acupressure uses finger pressure on these points.

EFT has been called a psychological version of acupressure, as the simple process of tapping certain acupoints while focusing on an emotional upset has the effect of releasing the intense charge of troubling emotions.
